Florida Southern College

Shari Szabo is in her 36th year of serving the students of Florida Southern College.  She is a graduate of Florida Southern College (Class of 1983), where she earned a bachelor’s degree (in broadcast communication) and later built her professional career. Szabo has served Florida Southern College in various roles for decades and currently serves as Dean of Student Solutions, overseeing student support services in Student Life, working closely with students to enhance their college experience.

Originally from Lakeland, Florida, she has deep ties to the college community both professionally and personally. She is also a vibrant supporter of Moccasin athletics, where she serves as the voice of the Lady Mocs, public address announcer for the FSC Women’s Volleyball team for more than 30 years. She has also served as public address announcer for women’s basketball and women’s softball. Go Mocs!!
