Competed in six meets for the Mocs … finished 10th in the 4K at the Swan City Cross Country Classic (9/6) with a time of 14:44.9 … placed fourth in the 5K at the HOKA Nights of Thunder XC Fest (9/12) while crossing the line in 19:06.6 … took 27th in the 6K at the Sunshine State Conference Cross Country Championships (10/25) with a mark of 23:04.7 … posted a 24:13.6 6K at the NCAA Division II South Region Cross Country Championships (11/8) while taking 74th.

AS A JUNIOR (2024)
Toed the line for four of FSC’s five races … top individual finish was at the Holloway Collegiate XC Opener in 25^th on the 4.2K course while stopping the clock at 16:00.32 … lone 5K race was the Southern Showcase … placed 173^rd in 18:58.21 … top 6K time came at the UAH Chargers Invitational with a mark of 22:38.3 to earn 78^th … placed 33^rd overall at the Sunshine State Conference Championship with a 6K time of 24:11.7.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2023)
Competed in five of Florida Southern’s eight races on the season … top individual finish came at the SSC Preview with a 25^th-place finish … ran one 5K which was the FSU Invite while posting a time of 20:14.2 … top 6K performance came at the SSC Championship with a time of 25:01.0 which earned her 47^th overall ... took home SSC Runner of the Week honors following the SSC Preview.

AS A FRESHMAN (2022)
Competed in two races for the Moccasins … posted top 5K time at the EFSC Fall Classic in 19:49.2 … posted top individual finish at the EFSC Fall Classic as well, taking 11^th overall.

HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at North Allegheny High School in Wexford, Pa. … member of both the cross country and track teams for NAHS … named a Scholar Athlete all eight semesters … four-year letter winner in cross country … earned three letters in track and field … part of the District and PIAA State Championship Cross Country Team in 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 … finished ninth individually in districts as a freshman … took 17^th overall at states as a freshman … member of the 4x400 state qualifying relay team as a sophomore … member of the 4x800 district championship relay team as a senior … the 4x800 team also qualified for states … graduated with honors … member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL
Daughter of James and Janice Hockenberry ... has a brother, Anthony … chose Florida Southern due to its family atmosphere, well respected nursing program, beautiful campus, welcoming teammates, and great coaches … second cousin, Jessica Brungo, was a member of the Penn State women’s basketball team as well as the Connecticut Suns of the WNBA … favorite professional teams include the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Penguins … favorite athletes include Allyson Felix, Sydney McLaughlin and Colleen Quigley.
