As a freshman (2013-14)… Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Competed in eight meets during the season… Member of two winning relay teams during the season… Finished second to other Florida Southern swimmers in the 200-freestyle in both of the dual meets where she swam that event… Twice hit NCAA “B” times in the 500-freestyle, and was third on the team’s top times list in that event… Also had an NCAA “B” cut on two occasions in the 1,000-freestyle where she was Florida Southern’s #2 swimmer on the times list behind national champion Alli Crenshaw… Had two more NCAA “B” times in the 1650-freestyle, and was third on Florida Southern’s times list… Had “B” times in all three distance events at the Sunshine State Conference Championships… Scored 43 points for the Moccasins at the conference meet, which was tied for fifth on the team with Cassie Ley… Posted Florida Southern’s best season time in the 400-IM.

In high school… 2013 graduate of West Ottawa High School… Swam for coach Steve Bowyer and helped the Panthers finish as Division 1 state runners-up as a sophomore, and state champions as a senior… Named to the All-State Team as a sophomore, junior, and senior… 4-time all-area and 4-time all-conference selection… 3-time conference champion in the 200-freestyle and 500-freestyle (sophomore, junior and senior years)… Won All-American awards as a sophomore and senior… During her senior year at the MHSAA Division 1 State Championships, finished as runner-up in the 500-freestyle and 400-freestyle relay, was fourth in the 200 freestyle, and was part of a state championship team in the 200-freestyle relay… As a junior, placed sixth in the MHSAA Division 1 State Championships in the 500-freestyle and was 10th in the 200-freestyle… Finished second in the state championships as a sophomore in the 500-freestyle, and was sixth in the 200-freestyle, and helped the 200-freestyle relay team place third… Qualified for the state meet as a freshman in the 500-freestyle… Also played one year of lacrosse… Academic All-State and All-American as a senior and was a scholar-athlete all four years of her high school career… West Ottawa High School’s salutatorian… Personal… Daughter of John and Allyson Fris… Has one younger brother (Jacob)… Spent her final semester of high school studying and going to school in Spain… Born April 24, 1995… Majors: Elementary Education and Spanish.
