As a junior (2015-16)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Competed in all seven regular season meets plus the SSC Championships… One of the Moccasins’ regular swimmers in the two butterfly events as well as the 500-, 1000-, and 1650-freestyle... Also a regular on all three freestyle relay teams… Helped one of the Mocs’ 800-freestyle relay teams achieve an NCAA provisional qualifying time at the SSC Championships… Third on the Florida Southern times list in the 1,000- and 1,650-freestyle, as well as the 200-butterfly.

As a sophomore (2014-15)… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Took part in nine meets, including the SSC Championships… One of Florida Southern’s regular competitors in the two butterfly events… Florida Southern’s top finisher in the 200-butterfly at Florida State and at Nova Southeastern… One of only two swimmers who competed in sprint, middle distance, and distance events, with the other being Riley McClendon (swam the 100, 200, 500, 1000, and 1650)… Also competed in the 200-IM on two occasions… Swam the butterfly leg on one of Florida Southern’s 200-medley relay teams.

As a freshman (2013-14)… Competed in 10 meets during the season… Part of one relay victory by the Moccasins when she helped them win the 400-freestyle relay in a dual meet against Florida Tech… Put together her best overall performance of the season in the dual meet at Saint Leo where she placed third in the 200- and 500-freestyles (Oct. 25)… Followed that one day later by finishing second to teammate Heather Burns in the 500-freestyle against Florida Tech (Oct. 26).

In high school… 2013 graduate of Covenant Day School… 4-year letter winner for coach Jay McGarity… Won Covenant’s coaches award as a senior… Also competed for Stingray Aquatics… Personal… Given name is Madison, but goes by Madi… Daughter of Mike and Debbie Rowan… Has two older brothers (Ethan and Hunter)… Born May 2, 1995… Major: Human Movement & Performance with a minor in Biology.
