AS A SOPHOMORE (2018-19)
Honors: Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, D2 ADA Academic Achievement Award… at the Spartan Invitational, placed 16th in the 50-freestyle in 24.31 seconds, leaving her a little over a half of a second away from an NCAA provisional time… posted a winning time of 1:01.16 in the 100-back against Emory University, one of the top teams in Division III… against Nova Southeastern, she came in second in the 100-backstroke in 1:01.88, just 1.6 seconds behind… reached the consolation finals of tHe 50-free at the Sunshine State Conference Championships, finishing 13^th… reached the championship finals and finished eighth 100-backstroke.

AS A FRESHMAN (2017-18)
Honors: Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Posted an NCAA provisional qualifying time in the 100-back and was part of provisional times in the 200-medley relay… Part of Florida Southern’s school-record 200-medley relay team, which they set during the SSC Championships while earning a silver medal… Took part in eight regular season meets in addition to the conference championships… Competed primarily in the backstroke events and the 50-free… Swam the 100-butterfly on two occasions and the 100-free once… Primary relay events were the 200-free and 200-medley… Picked up both of her individual wins in a dual meet vs. Rollins on November 10 in the 100-back and 50-free… Ranked #3 on the Florida Southern times list in the 100-back and #5 in the 200-back… Had other top-10 times in the 50-free and 100-fly… Swam the leadoff leg for the Moccasins’ top time in the 200-medley relay.

Came to Florida Southern as a 2016 graduate of U.E.P. Colegio Champagnat… 2017 national champion in 50-meter backstroke, and runner-up in both the 50-meter and 100-meter backstroke… 2017 national team champion… Daughter of Vincenzo and Liliana Di Bella… Has one younger sister (Maria Caterina) and one younger brother (Antonio)… Favorite pro athlete is Italian swimmer Federica Pellegrini.
