As a junior (2015-16)… NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Competed in all seven regular season meets plus the SSC Championships… Primary events were the 500- and 1,000-freestyle, but also competed several times in the 100 and 200... McClendon and Alli Crenshaw were the only Moccasin swimmers to compete in the sprint, middle distance and distance events… Also a regular on all three freestyle relay teams.

As a sophomore (2014-15)… NCAA Division II Academic Achievement Award winner… Sunshine State Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Took part in a total of eight meets including the SSC Championships… Took part in four different freestyle races throughout the season (100, 200, 500, and 1000)… One of only two swimmers who competed in sprint, middle distance, and distance events, with the other being Madi Rowan… As a member of the 800-freestyle relay team, helped the Moccasins reach an NCAA “B” time with a fourth-place finish at the Nova Southeastern Sharks Invitational… Also helped one of the Mocs’ 400-freestyle relay teams hit an NCAA “B” standard.

As a freshman (2013-14)… SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Competed in 10 meets during the season… Earned her first collegiate individual victory when she won the 500-freestyle in a dual meet at Saint Leo (Oct. 25)… Picked up a relay win later in the season as part of the 400-freestyle team against Nova Southeastern… Had a runner-up finish in the 1650-freestyle against Florida Tech (Oct. 26)… In addition to her win in the 500 at Saint Leo, also had third-place finishes in both the 100 and 1,000… One of only two Moccasins, with Alli Crenshaw the other, to compete in each of the six different freestyle events throughout the season.

In high school… 2013 graduate of Mansfield High School… 4-year letter winner for coach Cody Huckabay… District, regional and state qualifier as a sophomore, junior, and senior… 2-time first team all-district and all-region selection, and was twice named Second Team All-State… Team captain as a senior… Academic All-State, Academic All-American, and National Honor Society member… Graduated Magna Cum Laude… Personal… Daughter of Jim and Beth McClendon… Has two younger sisters (Sara and Ryan)… Born August 24, 1995… Major: Communications.
