Played in all 21 games with 5 starts … finished her final year of competition for the Mocs with 30 points, fifth-best on the team, with 23 goals and 7 assists … landed 34 of 42 shots on goal for a .810 SOG percentage …. Scooped up 15 groundballs and had 5 caused turnovers and won one draw control … registered six multi-goal games with three hattricks and a career-best 4 goals against Regis (Colo.) (3/4) … tallied two-four-point games with her four-goal game against Regis (3/4) and a three goal, one assist game against Tampa (5/18) in the NCAA DII Quarterfinals
AS A SENIOR (2023)
Played in all 22 games with three starts ... tallied 28 total points with 20 goals and eight assists ... had 28 of her 33 shots land on frame for a .848-shots-on-goal percentage ... finished with 13 groundballs and six caused turnovers ... had four multi-goal games including one hattrick against Notre Dame (Ohio) (3/9) ... scored a goal in the final five games of the year which consisted of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) semifinal, SSC Championship, and all three NCAA Tournament games against Flagler (5/12), Tampa (5/14), and Pace (5/19)
AS A JUNIOR (2022)
Played in 16 games on the year … had 14 points with six goals and eight assists … placed all 13 shots on goal for a 1.000 shot on goal performance … had seven groundballs, four draw controls, and one caused turnover … had one hattrick on the year which came against Tampa (5/1) in the SSC Championship game … registered one goal in a pair of games played in the NCAA South Regional tournament, which came against then-no. 1 Queens (NC) (5/15), and had one assist in the First Round game against Wingate (5/13)
AS A SOPHOMORE (2021)
Played in three games … had one point which was an assist against Florida Tech (3/20) … closed the year with one groundball
AS A FRESHMAN (2020)
HONORS: SSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll… she played in eight of the Mocs nine games in her first season at Florida Southern… she totaled five points on three goals and a pair of assists… one of those goals came on a free position shot as she converted her only free position shot of the season into a goal… on the season she recorded three shots and was a perfect three-for-three converting all shots into a goal… she picked up a pair of groundballs and caused a turnover… in her first collegiate game, she recorded an assist in an 18-6 victory at Young Harris (Feb. 14)… her first career goal and the multi-goal game came in an 8-4 victory against No. 1 Adelphi… with two goals in the game, her first career goal would wind up being the eventual game-winning goal over halfway through the first half… her second goal against the Panthers would be the final Moccasin goal as she scored with 56 seconds remaining in the first half… her third goal of the season came with 18 seconds remaining as she was awarded a free position shot in the Mocs 17-5 victory against No. 6 Regis (Colo.) (March 6)… her goal capped off an 8-0 to close out the game for Florida Southern.
HIGH SCHOOL
A 2019 graduate of Sandwich High School in Sandwich, Mass.… she played volleyball and lacrosse Blue Knights… voted as an Atlantic Coast League All-Star all four years of high school for both lacrosse and volleyball… received the James H. Sibson award representing the top student-athlete in high school (2018 & 2019)… made the honor roll… recorded 400 career points in lacrosse.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Kristen and Michael Gorrasi… has two older brothers, Nick and Zack… chose Florida Southern because it simply had everything she was looking for in a school… academically Florida Southern offered her top three major choices… being able to escape the cold weather of New England for a while to play lacrosse was the cherry on top.… played club lacrosse for Laxachusetts… dad Michael played professional lacrosse for the New England Blazers (89-90) and the North Adelaide Lacrosse Club in South Australia (86-87)… lists the New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, and Boston Bruins as her favorite professional teams… her favorite professional athlete is Tom Brady… lists playing the piano and spontaneous adventures as her hobbies outside of athletics… after graduation, she would like to travel and join the Peace Corps for a few years… she plans to apply her psychology major to animal behavior… perhaps rehabilitating wild animals born in captivity and reintroducing them back into their true environment… "settling down" is something that’s going to have to wait.
