Jace Aymond joins the Florida Southern College athletic communications office in July 2026 after spending the last two years at Georgia Southern.
While at Georgia Southern, Aymond served as the media relations contact for baseball, men's soccer, and the swimming and diving teams while graduating with a Master of Science in Sport Management. Prior to GSU, Aymond studied and worked at Mississippi College (later renamed Mississippi Christian University) in the sports information department for two years and was the main contact for the men's soccer team. He handled statistical duties for men's basketball, men's and women's soccer, and softball.
Also during his undergraduate at MC, Jace worked as the managing editor for MCTV, a weekly newscast, where he anchored and produced the show. He has also been the voice of the Choctaws' women's basketball team and for other local high school and junior college teams. He graduated from MC with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Media and a minor in Psychology.
A native of Effie, Louisiana, he is the son of Lynn and Andrea Aymond, and has two siblings, Jaxson and Jacob. In his spare time, Jace enjoys traveling the country to do escape rooms and rooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
