Jason Seels

Jason Seels was named Head Waterski Coach at Florida Southern College in 2026, bringing extensive international experience as both a world champion athlete and an accomplished coach.

One of the most decorated jump skiers in the sport’s history, Seels is an 11-time European Champion, World Games gold medalist, and two-time Over-35 World Champion. He also holds the Over-35 world jump record at 65.7 meters (216 feet) and earned bronze medals at the 2005 and 2007 World Championships. A longtime member of the British National Team, he represented Great Britain for more than 20 years in international competition.

As a coach, Seels founded a premier training academy in Winter Haven, Florida, in 2009 and has developed athletes ranging from youth competitors to world medalists. He also helped lead the U.S. Under-21 National Team to a gold medal at the 2015 World Championships.

Seels brings a proven track record of elite performance and athlete development to the Moccasins program.
