Pastore joined the Florida Southern College baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2024 as an assistant coach to the NCAA program.
Pastore was later added as an assistant coach to the Developemental Team in addition to his help to the varsity/NCAA baseball squad. He brings a wealth of knowledge with over 30 years of coaching experience in different sports. Despite assisting in various capacities across different sports, Pastore always turns back to coaching baseball as his main passion.
When asked about his thoughts on joining FSC baseball, Pastore said: "The difference between a successful coach and a great coach is the ability to inspire and empower their players. This is why I am so excited and thankful to have joined Southern Baseball. Coach O'Dette and the rest of the coaching staff, embodies the above quote and I also feel the same way in the development of not just great players but great men. FSC has a long proud history in baseball, with 9 national championships and to he apart of bringing them a 10th is exciting to say the least. I have been in coaching for over 30 years, coaching multiple sports and I always turn back to coaching baseball as my passion. I am thankful to have the support of my wife and 5 children with the support they have given me over the years. To spend time on the ballfields, doing what I love. I also would like to thank coach O'Dette and FSC for this opportunity to be apart of Mocs baseball and the start of a new era in a proud tradition at Florida Southern College."
