No. 11 Florida Southern extended its winning streak to five straight matches with a 25-22, 25-16, 25-18 Sunshine State Conference win over Florida Tech Tuesday night at Jenkins Field House.
The win improves FSC's record to 17-4, 7-1 in the SSC, while Florida Tech drops to 17-8, 2-6 SSC.
The Moccasins hit .337 for the match, but had just one player in double figures in kills, as Maggie Drumm collected 10 and hit .400 for the match.
Four other players had six or more kills. Julia Borecka had eight and hit .353. Danielle Higginbotham had seven, while Danielle Durham and Natalie Arvizu each had six.
FSC plays three regional matches in Florence, Ala., this weekend. Friday the Mocs play Ala.-Huntsville and West Florida, then Saturday they play North Alabama.
