With four players in double figures in kills, the seventh-ranked Moccasins downed North Alabama 25-20, 18-25, 26-24, 28-26 Friday night in their first match of the South Region Crossover Tournament at Jenkins Field House.
Danielle Higginbotham led the Mocs' offense with 14 kills and hit .481 for the match. Danielle Durham registered her fourth double-double of the season and the 39th of her career with 13 kills and 11 digs and Maggie Drumm and Julia Borecka each added 10 kills.
Whitney Sanders led UNA with 17 kills.
The Moccasins (7-2) play West Georgia at 1:30 p.m. and West Florida at 6 p.m. Saturday at Jenkins Field House.
