The Moccasins were on the opposite end of three-set matches Saturday at the Premier Challenge in Denver.
After beating Augustana (S.D.) in its semifinal match 26-24, 25-17, 25-19, FSC fell to defending national champion Concordia-St. Paul 25-15, 26-24, 25-21 in the championship match.
Against Augustana, Danielle Higginbotham led the Mocs with 14 kills and Maggie Drumm added a career-high 13. Against Concordia-St. Paul, Higginbotham had 11 kills and Danielle Durham collected 10. Higginbotham and Durham were FSC's representatives on the all-tournament team.
The Moccasins return to action Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Jenkins Field House against Palm Beach Atlantic.
