The Moccasins went up against two of the top junior college programs in the country Friday at Fort Pierce, facing Indian River State College and Daytona State College.
Indian River, where Moccasins head coach Duncan Sherrard formerly coached before coming to FSC, won 201-51 and Daytona won 165-93.
John Sevier and Dan Naherny each had a pair of top five individual finishes to pace the Moccasins. Sevier was fourth in the 50 freestyle (22.45) and fifth in the 100 freestyle (51.08) and swam the leadoff leg of the second-place 200 freestyle relay (1:30.86). Naherny was second in the 200-yard butterfly (1:56.27) and fourth in the 500-yard freestyle (4:58.37).
The Moccasins take on Rollins in a dual meet Saturday at noon at the Hollis Wellness Center Pool.
