Box Score Led by Julia Borecka's 19 kills, the 16th-ranked Moccasins made it two straight wins to start the season with a 22-25, 25-22, 25-14, 25-18 over St. Mary's Friday night at the St. Mary's Invitational in San Antonio, Texas.
Borecka hit .581 for the match, while Lauren Huber added 11 kills and hit .391. In her first FSC appearance, Erin Callahan, a transfer from Central Florida, recorded nine kills, hit .400 for the match, and had eight block assists.
Anne Pietkiewicz had another strong effort off the bench with nine kills, while Kendall Wilde delivered 45 assists and Courtney Johnson picked up 18 digs.
The Moccasins play two matches Saturday against Metro State at 10 a.m. (CT) and against Millersville (Pa.) at 4:45 p.m.
