Nova Southeastern won eight of 11 events to down the Moccasins 129-64 in their dual meet Saturday at Ft. Lauderdale.
The Moccasins' event wins came from Jeb Halfacre in the 100-yard freestyle in 46.96, Miguel Ferreira in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:08.73 and the 400-yard freestyle relay team in 3:33.09.
Individual second-place finishes for the Moccasins came from Halfacre in the 200-yard freestyle (1:43.06), Thomas Nguyen in the 200-yard backstroke (1:59.24) and Brian Moran in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:24.52).
FSC's next meet is the home opener Oct. 29 against Savannah College of Art & Design.
