Box Score With four players posting double figures in kills, the Moccasins reached the 20-victory plateau for the season with a 25-19, 28-26, 22-25, 25-17 Sunshine State Conference win over Rollins Tuesday night at Jenkins Field House. It's the seventh time the Moccasins have won at least 20 matches in Jill Stephens' 10 years as head coach.
Lauren Huber led the Moccasins with 15 kills and hit .429 for the match. She also delivered six blocks. Along with Huber, Anne Pietkiewicz recorded her sixth double-double of the season and 16th of her careeer with a 12-kill, 19-dig effort and Erin Callahan notched a career-high 10 kills while hitting .529 for the match.
Ashley Martin also had 10 kills, while Anna Niebuhr matched Pietkiewicz on the defensive side with 19 digs.
Megan Hodges led Rollins with 17 kills, while Sarah Mendoza, who leads the SSC in kills, had 12 for the Tars, but hit just .093 for the match.
The Mocs hit .282 and limited Rollins to a .149 hitting percentage for the match.
The Moccasins wrap up their regular season Saturday at 4 p.m. in Jenkins Field House against Eckerd. The team's four seniors - Martin, Natalie Arvizu, Kelly Sherman and Stephanie Goldstein - will be recognized prior to the match.
