Paced by double-doubles from Michaela Hawley and Emma Cannon, the Moccasins rolled past Saint Leo, 88-64, Wednesday night in their Sunshine State Conference game at Saint Leo.
Hawley, with 19 points and 11 rebounds, registered her first double-double of the season. Cannon added 18 points and 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season.
The win boosted the Moccasins' record to 9-2, 2-0 in the SSC. Saint Leo fell to 7-6, 0-3 in the SSC.
In addition to the output from Hawley and Cannon, the Moccasins received 15 points from Chelsea Johnson and an additional 15 points off the bench from Taylor Maldonado, as all 14 FSC players in uniform saw playing time in the game.
Lauren Lee led Saint Leo with 15 points.
The Moccasins scored the first five points of the game and never trailed, leading 43-26 at halftime.
Saturday the Moccasins play at 2 p.m. at Barry.
