Mocs Spread Holiday Cheers

In preparation for the holidays, the women’s basketball team spent last Friday night volunteering at the Lighthouse ministries Winter Wonderland. This was the third time the women’s basketball team has helped at this event.

“Lighthouse does so much for people in our community and it is a privilege for us to be able to be a part of this wonderful ministry,” said head coach Jarrod Olson.

The Lady Mocs donned costumes to take part in a live nativity scene as well as Snoopy and the Cat in the Hat and assisted with interactive games, bounce houses, and arts and crafts to help make the night memorable. 

The Winter Wonderland event continues until December 22. It’s open from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lighthouse Ministries in Lakeland.
