The first half was a struggle for both teams, as the Moccasins shot just 25 percent (10-40) from the field and Saint Leo shot 27 percent (9-33). A basket by Morgan Lamberg with 5:53 left in the half put the Moccasins ahead to stay and they enjoyed a 25-21 advantage at halftime. Neither team scored in the final 2:37 of the period.
ÂÂ
It wasn't until the 7:07 mark in the second half that the Moccasins pushed their lead into double digits for good on a jumper by Lamberg. The Moccasins' 15-point final margin matched their biggest lead of the night.
ÂÂ
Both teams finished the game shooting 34% from the field.

Chelsea Williams led Saint Leo with 12 points and Sarah Winans had 11. The loss was the Lions' eighth in a row.
