Box Score MIAMI SHORES, FL - Anja Fuchs-Robetin poured in 22 points, and Florida Southern College women's basketball blasted Barry, 90-70, on Wednesday night at the Barry Health and Sports Center.
With the victory, the Moccasins (19-7, 14-3 SSC) topped the Buccaneers (5-21, 3-15 SSC) four the fourth-straight time and set up a monumental showdown on Saturday at Eckerd. The winner of Saturday's contest will win the Sunshine State Conference regular-season title and earn the top seed in the upcoming SSC Tournament.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Florida Southern and Barry traded jabs throughout the first quarter, with the Buccaneers leading by as many as three points (11-8) at the 2:02 mark. However, the Mocs would close out the first period on a 12-2 run to take a 20-13 lead after the opening quarter of play.
• The Bucs were able to score the first five points of the second quarter to close the gap to two points (20-18), but the Moccasins responded with a quick 7-2 run to push the lead back to seven (27-20). Barry would chip away to cut the deficit to one point (31-30) with 3:52 to go in the first half, but Florida Southern closed out the quarter on a 12-3 run to take a 43-34 lead into the locker room.
• Florida Southern took its first double-digit lead of the game (44-34) on its first possession of the second half, and never led by less than seven points the rest of the way. The Mocs led by as many as 22 points (90-68) with less than a minute remaining before Barry hit the game's final shot to make it 90-70.
• The Moccasins shot 46.7 percent (31-of-67) from the floor, including 46.2 percent (6-of-13) from beyond the arc, and went 22-of-23 at the free-throw line. Barry connected on 40.3 percent (27-of-67) of its shots, but hit just 5-of-20 from three-point range. Florida Southern finished with a 43-31 edge in rebounds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
• Florida Southern improved to 46-17 all-time against Barry, including 18-11 when facing the Bucs in Miami Shores. The victory marked the Mocs' fourth-straight in the series.
• Anja Fuchs-Robetin scored 22 points in 35 minutes off the bench, while Theresa Mac-Dangosu added 16 points in 21 minutes in relief. Jensen Blassage (15) and Camille Giardina (13) also scored in double figures, while Anissa Toumi fell just shy of a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds.
• Fuchs-Robetin eclipsed 20 points for the third time this season and Mac-Dangosu scored in double figures for the fourth time in the past 10 games.
• With the victory, Florida Southern will face Eckerd on Saturday for the SSC regular-season title. The Tritons are 15-2 in conference play, but the Moccasins defeated Eckerd when the teams met earlier this year.

• Florida Southern and Eckerd will battle it out for the SSC regular-season title at 2 p.m. on Saturday in St. Petersburg. The Moccasins defeated the Tritons, 74-61, in Lakeland on Jan. 14.
• The Moccasins ave assured themselves of hosting a game in the first round of the SSC Tournament. The game will take place on March 1 at Jenkins Field House with a time and opponent to be determined.
