MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference (SSC) awarded Florida Southern College's
Jazzy Hoffmann the first Women's Swimmer of the Week of the season after a great performance at Rollins this past weekend.
The Mocs ran away with a 158-104 team win at Rollins on Friday. Hoffmann won the 50 yard freestyle (24.33) and the 100 yard freestyle (53.78) events. Serving as the anchor of the relay team, Hoffmann sealed the 400 yard freestyle relay win (3:37.31) and placed second in the 400 yard medley relay (4:00.13).
The sophomore from Atlanta, Ga. had a great first year with the Mocs and will look to add strong performances in a conference and national recognition push. Hoffmann was named to the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll last year and was one of two women swimmers to represent FSC in the NCAA championships in 2020-21 season.
Hoffmann and the women's swim team will take on Tampa this Friday, and travel to Saint Leo on Saturday in a busy weekend. The first home meet of the year will be on November 5
th.
