Box Score BOCA RATON, FLA. – The Florida Southern College men's soccer program dropped a very physical match to No. 6 Lynn University on Saturday night, 1-0, in a Sunshine State Conference rematch. The Fighting Knights currently hold a 7-1-0 overall record and are undefeated in the SSC with a 4-0-0 record. The Mocs drop to 1-5-3 on the year and 0-3-1 in the conference.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a physical back and forth game that saw very few offensive chances for either team. The Fighting Knights put four shots on goal, while the Mocs put up just two.
- After a very slow first half, Lynn came out and started to open up the game. It eventually led to a goal from Sinisa Sprecakovic in the 59th minute.
- The Mocs tried to put the pressure on the Fighting Knights and end their win streak at six but the winning streak for Lynn now moves to seven.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- The Mocs took just three shots, with two on goal both coming from James Meehan. The Fighting Knights managed eight total shots, with four on goal.
- FSC had an advantage in corner kicks, 3-2.
- FSC and Lynn recorded a yellow card a piece the Mocs coming in from Ryan Duffey
- Mars Gohier held strong until the 58th minute, also holding down the defense with three saves on the night.

The Mocs continue their road game action on Wednesday when they visit another Sunshine State Conference University of Tampa. FSC will face the Spartans for a 7:00 p.m. kickoff.
