Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Jacob Earns a Double-Double as Women's Basketball Falls to Rockhurst to Open Up the Terrace Hotel Christmas Classic

LAKELAND, Fla. — Florida Southern College women's basketball fell at home in the first game of the Terrace Hotel Christmas Classic to Rockhurst, 64-53, on Friday night at the Streamline Sale Arena in Jenkins Field House.

"It all comes down to defense and paying attention to little details," said assistant coach Megan Dzikas '12. "We are going to learn from this game, we have to learn and we have to do all of the extra things. It has been fortunate to have Whitney. Coach and I were saying that today she did a really good job of being patient within the offense and she is coming along great. But again, it's a team sport though so we need to play more together."
