Box Score GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico - The Florida Southern College women's basketball extended their win streak to four today in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico after a dominant 75-51 win over the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras

Anna Denes led the Mocs in scoring and rebounding with her 17 points and eight boards across 24 minutes of playing time.

Arielle Dabu, and
Domenica Zamora followed suit, each posting double-digits in today's game. Zamora also led the Mocs in assists and steals with eight and nine respectively.
The first quarter was defined by back-and-forth play as it was the only quarter that saw the Moccasins relinquish the lead. That was early on in the game, and the Mocs were only ever led by three. After they quickly battled back, it was all Moccasins game. The Mocs led 24-16 at the end of the first period.
The second quarter was the closest as the Mocs only out-scored the Roosters by three, but they would end the period up 11 heading into the second half after their 12-point scoring run - their best of the game.
Out of halftime, the Roosters looked to make it interesting as they chipped away at their deficit. The University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras was down six, but the Mocs threw in a huge surge and put up 19 points in the third. As the Mocs ended the third period up 58-44.
The fourth quarter saw more of the same from Florida Southern as they continued to press the Rooster's offense. The Moc's aggressive defense in the third quarter put a stop to the Rio Piedras scoring giving FSC their fourth straight, with a score of 75-51.
The Mocs were able to score off of the Rooster's turnovers as they put up 33 off of 25 turnovers. Zamora played a huge role in that with her nine steals. Overall, it was nice to see the Mocs play tough throughout the contest.

The Mocs will stay in Puerto Rico to square off against the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez on November 26. The tip-off is set for 10:00 AM.
