GREENSBORO, N.C. - A great effort by the Florida Southern College women's swimming team in the 400 medley relay finals to wrap up day three of the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving National Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
The Mocs were just outside the top 16 of the 400 medley relay, finishing 17th overall with a time of 3:46.46. The relay started with Teagan Michalek in the 100 back, who finished her portion in 56.92. Next was Emily Peck who swam the 100 breast in 1:03.77, ahead of Allie Brinton in the 100 fly in 55.92. Jazzy Hoffmann completed her 100 free leg in 49.85 to seal the Moccasin 17th place finish.
Earlier today during the Thursday prelims, Emily Peck finished the 400 IM with a time of 4:29.40 for 33rd overall. Freshman Olivia Miles finished 39thoverall in the 400 IM prelims with a time of 4:32.96. Erin McCann was the sole FSC women's swimmer in the 200 free and finished her prelims with a time of 1:52.55, good for 33rd overall and fifth in her heat. The women's team sit in 27th overall in team scoring through 20 events.

The women will have a busy day with Miles competing in the 500 free to start the day. Michalek will take on the 100 back, with a team of Mocs competing in the 800 free relay.
