GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Florida Southern College women's swimming team finish in the top-15 of the 800 free relay finals Friday night in the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.

Andy Robins. "We had two relays that earned Honorable Mention All American status in the 800 Free Relay, led by the team of Jazzy Hoffman,
Erin McCann,
Maja Eriksson, and
Olivia Miles with a 12
th place finish."
The Mocs finished the 800 free relay with a time of 7:30.35, good for 12
th place among the finals and Honorable Mention All-American honors for the team.
Jazzy Hoffmann led off for the team finishing her 200 free portion in 1:51.33, a time worthy of top-10 in FSC women's history.
Erin McCann was next finishing her leg in 1:52.24 to set up
Maja Eriksson to finish in 1:50.61. Newcomer
Olivia Miles was the final leg of the relay, finishing her 200 free in 1:56.17 and give the Mocs the 12
th place finish. The women were just two second behind a top-10 finish. The women qualified in the 800 free with an entry time of 7:28.82 as an 11 seed.
Earlier in the day at prelims, Miles represented the Mocs in the women's 500 free with a time of 5:07.68, good for 44th place in prelims.
Teagan Michalek posted a 100 back prelims time of 57.06, good for 31st place. Both the men and women will have a team represented in the 800 free relay as the men qualified with an entry time of 6:34.21 as a nine seed.

The women will have three athletes compete for a spot in the evening finals with Hoffmann in the 100 free,
Emily Peck competing in the 200 breast, and Miles in the 1650 free. The events will cap off the end of the NCAA Division II Swimming Championships with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. at the Greensboro Aquatic Center.
