NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced the rosters for the 2023 Senior All-Star games for Division I, II, and III where No. 2 Florida Southern College saw three players listed for the DII South Team in Hailey Daleo, Lizzy Lynch, and Gina Verrone.

The trio will compete on Tierney Field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md. on June 3. The DII: North-South game will start at 10 a.m., with games unfortuantly not being streamed this year. Division III will follow at 12:15 p.m. while Division I will close the event at 2:30 p.m. Admission is free for all three games.

Daleo, Lynch and Verrone become the 19th, 20th, and 21st Moccasins in program history to play in the IWLCA Senior All-Star game joining Brittany Iamele and Ally Louden (2022), as well as Mara Mason, Danielle LaDuca, Katie Hammerer, Megan AsperLorianne HooverRachael GriffithAshley RoberstonAustin BrownTaylor GillisKendall KergeMeghan O'BrienEmily SantoliMeghan VadalaAubrianna BenedettoDani Bursigner, and Sam Keesey, while head coach Kara Reber served as the coach in 2017.

The trio are three of seven Sunshine State Conference student-athletes to attend the North / South game, joined by Kailee O'Brien (Florida Tech), Isabella Clark (Lynn), Julia Kolderman (Tampa), and Olivia Mott (Tampa). The 2023 South team coach is Jenny Miller of Shepherd University, where the North team will be coached by the 2023 National Champion coach, Tricia Molfetta of Pace University.

Daleo, Lynch and Verrone concluded their careers as Moccasins guiding the team to the national semifinal in Indianapolis, Ind. after capturing the South Region Championship with a 15-9 win over No. 2 Tampa.

Lynch has been a member of the program for the past five years and has played for the Sunshine State Conference title in each of her eligible years for the Moccasins winning the tournament title in 2022. She concluded her career with 206 points on 118 goals and 88 assists with 82 ground balls and 73 caused turnovers, while being one of the nation's best players in the ride. Her goals, assists, points, and caused turnovers place her in the top-10 in program history in each career category. She was a two-time IWLCA All-American (First Team – 2023, Second Team – 2022), and a two-time USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American (2022 and 2023), while being selected to the All-SSC First Team three consecutive seasons (2021, 2022, 2023). *2020 and 2021 no SSC Tournament due to CoVID-19*

Daleo finished her three-year playing career with Florida Southern with 203 total points on 168 goals and 36 assists, notching 63 this season for a single-season career-high. Her career points and goals rank her inside the top-10 in program history while her 63 goals are fifth all-time in a single season. She wrapped up her career as a three-time All-American by USA Lacrosse Magazine and a 2021 IWLCA Second Team All-America selection, while being tabbed First Team All-SSC in each of her three seasons.

Verrone concluded her lone season in the Red and White leading the Mocs to the semifinals after starting in 21 of 22 games played with 102 draw controls, 37 caused turnovers, 53 ground balls, while scoring her first career goal where she scored her third career goal on the national stage in Indianapolis, Ind. in the semifinal game. Her 102 draw controls made her just the third player in program history to eclipse 100 draws joining Dani Bursinger and Sam Keesey, while she also became the program's third player to ever be named the IWLCA Defender of the Year, too joining Bursinger and Keesey. Verrone was tabbed to the NCAA National Championship All-Tournament team while also earning IWLCA First Team All-America nods and First Team All-SSC honors.
