ORLANDO, Fla. – No. 10 Florida Southern College men's golf closed play for the fall 2024 with a ninth place finish at the 2024 Citrus Intercollegiate with a final score of 904 (+40) at the Champions Gate Golf Club.

Ryan Miller, who is playing as an individual, posted his first top-10 finish taking ninth overall out of 84 players on the par-72 course with a final 220 (+4). The Naples, Fla. freshman posted a final score 75 (+3) to pair with his 74 and 71 from the first day of golf. He paced the team and was tied for fifth in the field on par-5 scoring (-3).

Max Barile challenged Miller and placed 10th, one stroke off at 221 (+5) after a final round 76 (+4). Barile was the team leader and fourth overall in the player field in total birdies with 11. He paired his final 76 with his first two rounds of 71 and 74, respectively.

Donte Groppuso was second on the team scoring with a 225 (+9) and finished in 25th place which was two strokes ahead of Colton Swartz, who shot up 30 spots over the final 18 to finish at 227 (+11) for 35th place. Swartz carded the team's best score of the event of two-under 70 for his final round.

Clay Tucker and Tyler Mistretta rounded out the Mocs in the field in 56th and 68th place respectively. Tucker, who finished tied for third out of all players on par-3 scoring (-1), finished with a 233 (+17) total. Mistretta, the team leader in total pars with 35, finished in 68th place at 237 (+21).

RJ Glod (Rollins) held on for the individual win at 212 (-4), fending off Palm Beach Atlantic's Raines Holmes who finished at 214 (-2).

No. 6 Lincoln Memorial went wire-to-wire to finish with the team win by six-strokes over Rollins, 868 (+4) to 874 (+10).

After two tournaments in the fall semester, Florida Southern will continue play in the spring and open it with the Matlock Collegiate Classic on Feb. 10-11 at Lone Palm Golf Club in Lakeland, Fla.
