MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has announced the 2023-24 All-SSC Women's Swimming Teams with three Florida Southern College Moccasins named to the list.

Ainsley Bennett, Olivia Miles, and Alizee Pelletier were each named to the All-SSC Third Team, each their first selection to a conference award. Three FSC women's team swimmers mark the program's most athletes selected since 2018, when Jacinda Whittenburg, Peyton Breault, and Katie Moore were named All-SSC.

Bennett is currently on a fantastic run in her freshman campaign which is highlighted by B standard times in the 200 free (1:51.83) and the 500 free (4:57.54), both team-bests. She also secured a B standard time in the 400 IM with a time of 2:28.85. At the SSC Championships earlier this month, Bennett had top-eight finishes in the 500 free, 200 IM, and 400 IM, while helping great times in relays for the team. The Hannibal, Mo. native had top-six FSC times in nine different events to cap a great first year with the Mocs.

Miles earned her first All-SSC award as a junior with the women's team. The Margate, England native just earned her third consecutive appearance in the NCAA championships after qualifying for the 400 IM in last night's selection announcement. Miles will also compete in the 500 free, 1000 free, and 1650 free with B standard times at the NCAA stage next month. At the SSC Championships, Miles finished top-10 in each of her events, including a fifth-place finish in the 400 IM.

Pelletier earned her Third Team selection after a fantastic SSC run that culminated in an individual SSC championship in the 200 breast and second in the 100 breast. Her first conference championship as a junior, Pelletier won the first individual conference title for the women's team since Jazzy Hoffmann and Miles each on in the 2022 meet. The France native holds the program record in the 200 breast and set a new standard in the 100 breast at the SSC championships this month for her second school record. Pelletier will join Miles, Elizabeth Sikes, and Allie Brinton at the NCAA finals after qualifying in both the 100 and 200 breast.

SSC Coach of the Year, Swimmer of the Year, and Freshman of the Year will be voted on by league coaches following the NCAA Division II championship on Tuesday, March 12th - Saturday, March 16th, at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
