MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference selected Florida Southern women's lacrosse graduate students

McKenzie Gaghan as the Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week, respectively (April 8).

Jackie Stoller and
McKenzie Gaghan guided No. 4 Florida Southern to a pair of ranked road wins last week with a 20-10 decision in Daytona Beach, Fla. over then-no. 11 Embry-Riddle followed by a 20-11 win in Winter Park over then-no. 17 Rollins.

Stoller, a native of Wayland, Mass., finished with 13 points on the week on eight goals and five assists. She tallied 12 shots between the two games with nine landing on frame, including a 4-for-6 performance in free position attempts. The graduate student finished with a pair of groundballs and a pair of caused turnovers while tallying one draw control on the week. In the first game of the week for the Mocs, Stoller paced the team with seven points with five goals and two assists before closing the week with six points against the Tars with three goals and three assists.

Gaghan, a native of North Masaapequa, N.Y., earned two wins on the week in goal moving to 11-3 on the season. Gaghan played 93 total minutes between the two games, earning the nod in each game where she finished with 10 saves on 48 shots and scooped up seven ground balls. In the road win over the No. 11 Eagles, Gaghan played the entire 60 minutes and tallied seven saves on 25 shots before playing the first 33 minutes against the No. 17 Tars with three saves on 23 shots.

The honor is Stoller's fourth career and third of the season while it is Gaghan's first Sunshine State Conference honor in her career. It's the program's fourth weekly honor this season.

No. 4 Florida Southern (11-3, 4-0 SSC) returns to action on April 10 at 7 p.m. when the Moccasins host No. 20 Florida Tech (7-7, 1-3 SSC).
