GREENWOOD, Ind. – The 2025-26 Academic All-America Women's At-Large teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), have been released, with Florida Southern College's
Kolby Cohen and
Charlie Laye recognized.
Â
This is the first CSC Academic All-America honor for Cohen and Laye, joining six other FSC women's lacrosse players throughout program history. Previous winners from the women's lacrosse program are Katie Hammerer (2014), Julia Couch (2020), Patricia Werker (2022), Hailey Daleo (2023), Jackie Stoller (2024), and
Maria Reeves (2025). This is the first time in program history that two or more players have been selected to the CSC list in a single year.
Â

The junior has recorded 131 draw controls, while adding 41 points on 23 goals and 18 assists. She also contributes on the defensive end with 16 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. Cohen was named the SSC Draw Specialist of the year, accompanying her first team All-SSC honors, and an IWLCA first team All-South region selection. In postseason play, Cohen was named the Most Outstanding Player of both the NCAA Tournament and the SSC Tournament and was selected to the All-Tournament Team for both as well. She holds a career GPA of 3.89 in Accounting.
Â
Laye was a standout of the Florida Southern defense, leading the team to the program's second NCAA DII National Championship last month. Laye led the team with 44 groundballs, adding 32 caused turnovers and 18 draw controls. She was the Polk County Female Collegiate Athlete of the Year, an All-SSC First Team, USA Lacrosse Second Team All-America, and IWLCA First Team All-America selection, tallying a pair of goals this season and credited with an assist. Prior to the NCAA semifinal game, Laye was recognized as the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete for Women's Lacrosse, given to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative GPA at the finals site for each of the NCAA's championships. She finished her Master of Accountancy with a career GPA of 3.933. She is a four-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient and is a two-time First Team All-SSC selection. She was named IWLCA All-South Region Second Team last season and moved up to the First Team in 2026.
