TAMPA, Fla. — No. 21 Florida Southern College women's swimming dropped its meet against No. 1 University of Tampa on Friday, leading to a 244-75 score in the women's competition.
Zoë Celi competed in both the 400 Yard Medley Relay and the 100 Yard Backstroke. She helped her team finish in fifth place in the relay with a time of 3:56.89 and secured a third-place finish in the backstroke with a time of 1:01.86.
Rania Khallouqi was a key contributor in the 400 Yard Medley Relay and the 100 Yard Freestyle. She assisted her team to a fifth-place finish in the relay, clocking in at 3:56.89, and took fourth place in the 100 Free with a time of 53.09.
Khallouqi was a standout for Florida Southern, taking third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:55.42 and contributing to the team's relay efforts. The women's team also demonstrated resilience in the 400-yard medley relay, led by swimmers
Alexandra Alkas-Alias and
Elizabeth Sikes.Â
