TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — No. 21 Florida Southern College women's swimming showcased strong performances at the Florida State Quad Meet, highlighted by 
Gabrielle Goodwin's third-place finish in the Women's 400 Yard IM and the team securing fifth place in the Women's 200 Yard Free Relay. FSC competed against the University of West Florida, University of North Florida, and Florida State University. 
Florida Southern showed competitive performances at the Florida State Quad Meet, with several athletes scoring valuable points. Freshman 
Rania Khallouqi placed eighth in the 200-yard freestyle, clocking in at 1:55.09. 
Alexandra Alkas Alias, also a freshman, made a significant impact in the 100-yard breaststroke, securing a fifth-place finish with a time of 1:02.90. Junior 
Gabrielle Goodwin excelled in the 400-yard individual medley, finishing in third place with a time of 4:28.07.
The team also performed well in relay events. The A relay team, consisting of 
Sam Hunter, Mallory Baker, Elizabeth Sikes, and Alkas Alias, finished fifth in the 200-yard freestyle relay with a collective time of 1:35.72. Notably, freshman 
Natalie True delivered a strong performance across multiple events, including a fifth-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:30.12. True also placed fifth in the 400-yard individual medley, further solidifying her role as a key athlete for the Mocs in the meet.

True, a freshman, delivered strong performances in multiple events. She secured a fifth-place finish in the Women's 500 Yard Free with a time of 4:30.12. True also contributed to FSC's overall score with a 12th-place finish in the Women's 200 Yard Free.
Goodwin achieved a third-place finish in the Women's 400 Yard IM, clocking in at 4:28.07. Goodwin also participated in the Women's 200 Yard Free Relay.
Sikes excelled in the Women's 100 Yard Fly, reaching the fourth position with a time of 55.81. She also swam a crucial leg in the Women's 200 Yard Free Relay, contributing to the team's fifth-place finish.
Alkas Alias, a freshman, made a strong impact in the Women's 100 Yard Breast by finishing in fifth place with a time of 1:02.90. She also played a key role in the Women's 200 Yard Free Relay, where her team finished fifth.
Looking ahead, the Mocs will face the University of Miami on October 31 in Coral Gables, Fla., with the meet set to begin at 2 p.m.
