CHAMPIONSGATE, Fla. - The No. 3/6 Florida Southern men's golf team closed the door on its fall slate with a team title at the Citrus Intercollegiate, with a 14-under 850 at Championsgate Golf Club on Tuesday.Â
Colton Swartz led the Moccasins with an impressive 8-under performance. He finished the tournament third and carded three more birdies in the final round.Â
Max Barile finished tied-ninth, and was the Moccasins' leader on the day. Barile shot two-under in his final round, carding five birdies. He finished the tournament with a three-round score of 215 (one-under).Â
Donte Groppuso shot even on the day for a tied-15th place finish. Tyler Mistretta and Jack VanderSchuur both finished tied-17th, with three-round scores of 218.Â
Anthony Monteleone competed as an individual for the Mocs and finished tied-14th with a three-round score of 220 (+4).Â
Florida Southern finished the tournament in first place, with a three-round score of 850 (-14). Eduardo Matarazzo of Barry was the tournament's individual champion, finishing the tournament 13-under.Â

The Moccasins completed their fall tournament schedule. Florida Southern will open the spring season hosting the Matlock Collegiate Classic at the Lone Palm Golf Club in Lakeland, Fla.Â
