COLUMBIA, S.C. – The No. 15 Florida Southern College women's swimming team wrapped up day three of the Gamecock Invitational on Thursday night at the Carolina Natatorium.

In prelims,
Gabrielle Goodwin secured a 19th-place finish in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:04.12, leading her team in a competitive matchup at the Gamecock Invite.
Zoë Celi also made a notable impact, finishing 28th in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 57.22.

Florida Southern's Goodwin clocked in at 5:04.12 in the 500-yard freestyle.
Alexandra Alkas Alias showed versatility, placing 24th in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:23.30 and also competing in the 50-yard freestyle, where she finished 38th in 24.32.
Sam Hunter delivered a strong performance in the 50-yard freestyle, securing 24th place with a time of 24.02.

For the evening finals, Hunter contributed significantly to the Mocs' performance, placing 18th in the 50-yard freestyle and earning 3 points. She also participated in the 200-yard freestyle relay team that finished ninth, clocking in at 1:35.38, and in the 400-yard medley relay team that secured 11th place with a time of 3:48.60. Alkas Alias was a key competitor, participating in the 200-yard freestyle relay team that placed ninth and in the 400-yard medley relay team finishing 11th. She also competed in the men's 200-yard breaststroke, finishing 22nd in 2:21.36. Goodwin delivered a strong performance in the 500-yard freestyle, placing 18th with a time of 5:02.81 and earning 3 points.

The Mocs will have the final day of competition tomorrow, Nov. 21, featuring the 200 IM, 100 free, 200 fly, 200 back, and 400 FR at the Carolina Natatorium.
