INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The No. 23 Florida Southern College women's swimming team opened the 2025 NCAA Division II Swimming Championships by competing in the 800 free relay this afternoon at the IU Natatorium.

The Moccasins finished in 16
th place overall with a time of 7:35.15 behind a team of
Vanda Voroshazy, Elizabeth Sikes, Olivia Miles, and
Sam Hunter. Voroshazy opened the swim with a 1:52.87 leadoff time, followed by Sikes, Miles, and Hunter to finish the relay. With just the one relay event on the day, the Mocs sit in 16
th overall with two points. Nova Southeastern University is the team leader through one event, winning the relay in 7:11.57.

Tomorrow's events will include the 200 IM (Voroshazy), 50 free (Hunter), and 1000 free (Miles). Prelims are set for 10 a.m., and the finals will occur at 5:30 p.m., all at the IU Natatorium.
