INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The No. 23 Florida Southern College women's swimming team had a top 16 finish in the evening relay to wrap up day three of the NCAA Championships inside the IU Natatorium.
The Moccasins are tied for 28
th place with six points through 19 events. The leader through today's events is Drury University with 262 points.
In the evening finals, the Mocs had a team in the 400 medley relay as
Elizabeth Sikes, Alizee Pelletier, Vanda Voroshazy, and
Sam Hunter finished second in their heat with a time of 3:47.45, good for 15
th overall.
In prelims, Voroshazy opened the morning heats with a 23rd-place finish in the 100 fly (55.49).
Olivia Miles swam the 400 IM just outside of an evening final big in 19
th place with a time of 4:26.88. Hunter then swam the 200 free, finishing in 1:52.63, good for 39
th overall.
The Mocs will compete in the 500 free (Miles), 100 breaststroke (Pelletier), 200 fly (Sikes), and the 200 free relay in tomorrow's events. The prelims will occur at 10 a.m. and the finals at 5:30 p.m. inside the IU Natatorium.
