HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Florida Southern College men's basketball saw two student-athletes, Jadin Booth and Alex Steen, earn Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2 CCA) All-South Region honors for the second time in their respective careers.

Jadin Booth, a graduate student from Omaha, Neb., earned First Team All-South Region honors for the second time after being named First Team All-Sunshine State Conference.

Booth is having a tremendous 2024-25 season where he is currently leading the Moccasins in both scoring (21.3 ppg.) and assists (5.46 apg.). He ranks second in the conference in scoring and assists while leading the league in free throw percentage (.929). Booth hit a major milestone this season with 1,000 career points as a Moccasin, the 47th player to reach the mark in program history. He also hit a career-high 40 points in a single game on two different occasions at Lynn and at Nova Southeastern earlier this calendar year. He averaged 26.0 ppg. over the three Sunshine State Conference Championship contents including a high of 29 in the Championship game at Nova Southeastern. He enters the NCAA postseason ranked second in NCAA Division II in both free throw percentage and total free throws (197).

Alex Steen, a junior from Panama City Beach, Fla., earned Second Team All-South Region honors after earning the SSC Defensive Player of the Year honor as well as a First Team All-league nod this season. Steen is a two-time SSC Defensive Player of the Year after taking home the honor last season as well.

Steen tallied 6.7 defensive rebounds, 2.6 blocks, 1.1 steals, and 28.6 minutes per game across his 30 regular season contests to remain the third Moccasin in program history to earn the conference Defensive Player of the Year honor. He became the 48th Moccasin in program history to eclipse 1,000 career points earlier this season versus Embry-Riddle. Steen is currently averaging a double-double with a team-leading 10.6 rebounds per game and an 18.5 points per game average that ranks second on the squad. He has 17 double-doubles heading in the NCAA Tournament and has been averaging 18.0 points and 14.1 rebounds per game over the last 10 contests. Steen currently ranks sixth in NCAA Division II in blocks per game () and 13th in rebounds per game ().
