WINTER PARK, Fla. — The No. 24 Florida Southern College women's swimming team beat the Rollins College Tars in a road dual meet on Friday afternoon at the Alfond Swimming Pool.
The Moccasins secured multiple top finishes, beating the Tars 130-74 for their second Sunshine State Conference dual meet win of the season.
Natalie True excelled in the longer distances, capturing first place in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:24.00 and again in the 500-yard freestyle, clocking in at 5:07.18.
Mallory Baker showed her speed by winning the 50-yard freestyle in 24.62 and tying for first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.42, the latter a tie with fellow Moc,
Rania Khallouqi.
Alexa Paredes contributed significantly in the medley relay, and she claimed victory in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing in 2:24.44. Other FSC top finishes included
Elizabeth Sikes in the 200 fly with a 2:05.71 time, Khallouqi in the 200 free with 1:55.99, and
Zoë Celi in the 200 back with a time of 2:10.10.

- 200 Yard Medley Relay — Florida Southern A secured first with a time of 1:47.03; Florida Southern B placed fourth in 1:54.22.
Individual Swimming
- 1000 Yard Freestyle — True won with a time of 10:24.00;
Emma Sammons followed in second at 10:43.47; Huma was third in 10:52.73.
- 200 Yard Freestyle — Khallouqi took first in 1:55.99;
Charlotte Bell placed third in 1:59.75.
- 50 Yard Freestyle — Baker led with a time of 24.62;
Sam Hunter finished fourth in 25.03.
- 200 Yard Butterfly — Sikes won in 2:05.71;
Josie Strobl finished third in 2:10.87.
- 200 Yard Backstroke — Celi claimed first with a time of 2:10.10;
Emma Huma was second in 2:12.07.
- 500 Yard Freestyle — True led with a time of 5:07.18;
Gabrielle Goodwin finished second in 5:13.86.
In their next event, the Moccasins will face No. 2 Nova Southeastern University on Friday, January 23, at 2:00 p.m. ET in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
