BOCA RATON, Fla. — No. 18 Florida Southern College women's swimming fell to No. 14 Lynn University on Saturday in the final regular-season dual meet of the year.

The Moccasins dropped the dual meet 197.5-57.5 points, despite some great events by the squad before next month's Sunshine State Conference Championships.

Some events highlighted Florida Southern's final dual meet wins, with
Alexa Paredes securing a first-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:06.42.
Natalie True contributed significantly by claiming second in the 1000-yard freestyle, clocking in at 10:53.46.

Paredes also secured second place in the 200-yard breaststroke, clocking 2:26.40.
Zoë Celi also demonstrated consistency, securing second place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:00.52, and added a fourth-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke at 2:13.60.
Elizabeth Sikes delivered strong performances, taking third in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:07.13 and second in the 100-yard butterfly at 57.25.

FSC showed depth in relay events, claiming second place in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:34.42, featuring
Mallory Baker, Sam Hunter, Rania Khallouqi, and Sikes
. The 400-yard medley relay team, consisting of Celi, Paredes, Sikes, and Hunter, placed third with a time of 3:57.73.

The Mocs will prepare for the SSC Championships, taking place Feb. 11-15 at the FAST Center in Ocala, Fla.
