Kolby Cohen was tabbed Division II IWLCA Defensive Player of the Week, following her outstanding performance in the Mocs' home opener victory over #11/#10 Lynn.
Kolby Cohen helped the Mocs to their 13-10 victory over #11/#10 Lynn. The junior was dominant on the draw, with seven of the Mocs' 17 draw controls. Florida Southern outdrew Lynn 17-6 in the game. Cohen also caused a season-high two turnovers and picked up one ground ball. The Memphis, Tennessee native was integral to the Moccasin defense that limited the Knights to 10 goals in the game.
On the season, Cohen has tallied two goals, while contributing eight draw controls, three caused turnovers, and three groundballs through two games.
The #4/#1 Mocs travel up to Huntsville, Ala. this week to face #24/- Alabama Huntsville on Thursday before taking on the new #1/#5 University of Indianapolis on Saturday.
