NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - The Florida Southern College women's lacrosse team moved up to No. 1 in the latest Division II Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Poll after knocking off then-No. 1 University of Indianapolis over the weekend. Florida Southern remains No. 1 according to the latest USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II Poll, also announced this morning.
The Moccasins (4-0) had an undefeated week, beating No. 24 University of Alabama in Huntsville 12-8 on Thursday, and knocking off the Greyhounds on Saturday by a 9-8 score. FSC opened that week's events ranked No. 4 in the Coaches Poll, setting up the exciting top-5 matchup on Saturday.
The 2026 season has been productive for the Mocs and their 4-0 start, outscoring opponents 45-36.
Lindsey Tolliver leads the team in goals (11), eclipsing double-digit goals over the weekend, including the UIndy game winner. She is tied with
Louise Aloi in total points (11), just ahead of
Jenna Vetter (10 points), and the team leader in shots (25).
In goal, Florida Southern has used both
Rebekah Bargeron and
Annesley Flint. Bargeron leads with three wins credited and an 8.00 GAA so far. Flint has started three of the four games, leading with 17 saves over 135 minutes played.
Looking ahead, the No. 1 Mocs will travel to St. Augustine on Thursday, Feb. 26, to face another top-5 matchup against No. 5 Flagler College, set for a 7 p.m. start at Flagler Field.
