FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. - With a final round of 277, the No. 4 Florida Southern men's golf took home its fourth team title of the season at the Shark Invitational at the Grande Oaks Golf Club in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Colton Swartz won the individual title with an 11-under score of 202

Florida Southern overtook the top spot from the host team Nova Southeastern on the final day, with Florida Southern closing the gap with a 7-under final round. The Sharks shot 12-over on the day to fall to second place. 

Colton Swartz took home the individual title as his first win of the season and the third of his career. The junior closed the Shark Invitational with another bogey-free round, shooting 2-under on the day. His three-round score of 202 marked a season low. 

Max Barile posted a top-3 finish, following closely behind Swartz, with a three-round 5-under score of 208. He carded five-birdies in the final round. 

Freshman Anthony Monteleone finished top-10, vaulting up the leaderboard with his lowest round of the tournament with a 68 to close. He carded seven birdies, opening with back-to-back birdies on holes 3 and 4, before back-to-back birdies again on 10 and 11. 

Chris Pollak posted a career-low three-round score of 211, finishing tied-13th. The freshman shot 1-under with three birdies in the final round. 

Tyler Mistretta, who competed as an individual, also shot his best round today, with a 3-under 68. He finished the tournament 1-over, with a score of 214 and a tied-20th finish. 

Donte Groppuso rounded out the Moccasin lineup with a tied-50th finish. He shot a 7-over 220, with a 74 in the final round.

The Moccasins will compete in their final tournament of the regular season next week, as they travel up to Pensacola, Fla. to compete in the Argonaut Invitational hosted by West Florida at the Pensacola Country Club.
