ORLANDO, Fla. - The Sunshine State Conference has released the 2025-26 Men's Basketball All-Conference Teams, with Florida Southern College's
Amare Miller and
Brady Corso earning selections. Miller was named All-SSC first team, while Corso was named All-SSC third team.
Amare Miller was named All-SSC first team following a record-setting senior season. So far, Miller has scored 467 points on the season, averaging 16.1 per game, and has accumulated 13 double-doubles this season. The White Plains, N.Y. native leads the Mocs in multiple categories with 44 blocks, 252 rebounds, 8.7 rebounds per game, 467 points, 16.1 points per game, 196 field goals made, and a shooting percentage at 54.6%. He ranks 2nd in blocks, 3rd in the conference in rebounding, 4th in shooting percentage, and 10th in scoring. Miller has also passed career milestones this season, including surpassing the 500 career rebound mark against Palm Beach Atlantic on February 4th. Miller was a three-time SSC Player of the Week this season, including the final SSC Defensive Player of the Week on March 2nd.
Brady Corso was named All-SSC third team after a breakout Moccasin debut season. Corso, the transfer from fellow SSC institution Saint Leo, led the Moccasin squad from beyond the arc with 81 made 3-pointers. He ranked second in scoring, only behind
Amare Miller, with 14.2 points per game. Corso's 81 3-pointers rank third in the SSC.
With their overtime win over Embry-Riddle yesterday, the Moccasins advance to the SSC semifinal and travel down to West Palm Beach, Fla., tomorrow to face No. 12 Palm Beach Atlantic. The Mocs and Sailfish tipoff at 7:00 PM in Rubin Arena.
