NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – Five Florida Southern College Women's Lacrosse players were named IWLCA All-Americans as announced by the IWLCA on Wednesday. Charlie Laye, Brayden Cannelli, Audrey Cannelli, Kolby Cohen, and Jenna Vetter were all recognized as All-Americans.
Charlie Laye was named a first-team selection following a standout final year as a Moc. The graduate student and captain is an anchor of the Moccasin defense that limits opponents to 18 shots per game. She leads Florida Southern in groundballs with 39 and ranks second on the squad in caused turnovers with 30. Charlie was also First Team All-SSC, First Team All-South Region (IWLCA), and a USA Lacrosse Magazine Second Team All-American.
Brayden Cannelli was named a second-team selection by the IWLCA. The junior ranks second on the squad in ground balls with 37, while also causing 28 turnovers and grabbing 40 draw controls. Brayden was named an IWLCA First Team All-Region selection and was also tabbed to the All-SSC First Team.
Audrey Cannelli, Kolby Cohen, and Jenna Vetter were all named third-team selections. Cannelli joins her sister Brayden as an All-American as a key contributor to the lockdown Moccasin defense. She ranks first in the squad in caused turnovers with 43 and third on the squad in both ground balls and draw controls with 33 and 48, respectively. Audrey was named USA Lacrosse magazine first team All-American, a second team IWLCA All-South Region selection, and first team All-SSC.
Cohen receives third-team honors for being the team's most versatile midfielder. The junior has recorded 119 draw controls, while adding 37 points on 21 goals and 16 assists. She also contributes on the defensive end with 16 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers. Cohen was named the SSC Draw Specialist of the year, accompanying her first team All-SSC honors, and an IWLCA first team All-South region selection. In postseason play, Cohen was named the Most Outstanding Player of the SSC Tournament and was selected to the All-Tournament Team.
Vetter leads the Moccasin squad in both points and goals with 73 and 62, respectively. The junior eclipsed her 100th career goal this season against PBA on April 15th, bringing her career total to 114. Vetter also tied the program record for goals in a game with nine against Saint Leo on March 25th. Vetter has been named a USA Lacrosse Magazine First Team All-American, IWLCA All-South Region First Team, All-Sunshine State Conference First Team, SSC Offensive Player of the Week, and IWLCA Offensive Player of the Week following the nine-goal performance.
The IWLCA has announced the 48 student-athletes selected for the 2026 Division II All-American teams, divided into first, second, and third teams. These IWLCA All-Americans, representing 21 different institutions, are recognized as the top athletes in the sport this year.
