LAKELAND, Fla. – The 2026-27 Florida Southern College men's and women's swimming schedules have been released by Steven Bostick, now in his second year at the helm of the swimming programs. 

"With significant growth to our team, we chose a more localized competition schedule this year," says Bostick. "The Sunshine State Conference is the best conference in Division II, which gives us plenty of high-level competition right in our backyard to prepare us for the NCAA Championships. The highlight of our dual-meet schedule will be hosting Tampa at home. That meet also falls on Alumni Weekend, so I'm hoping to see our facility packed with former Mocs and some of the blue-collar athletes whose hard work, toughness, and commitment helped build this program into what it is today."
 
Florida Southern's swim teams start their campaign on the road with a dual meet at Florida Tech on Oct. 16th before coming back home the following day to face the Panthers again at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool. The following Saturday, Oct. 24th, is Alumni Weekend for the program, as Tampa comes to Lakeland for a dual meet.
 
The teams' midseason meet will be the Spartan Invite, hosted by Tampa, from Nov. 15-18 at the Long Center in Clearwater before a road dual against Indian River State College on Dec. 11th. The swim programs close out the 2026 calendar year with the Shark Invitational, hosted by Nova Southeastern, on Dec. 18th and 19th.
 
2027 starts with back-to-back home duals for the Mocs, starting with Lynn on Jan. 9th for Senior Day. Just six days later (Jan. 15th), New College of Florida comes for Faculty Appreciation Day at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool to mark the final dual meet of the season. The regular season comes to a close the following day (Jan. 16th) with a tri-meet against both Barry and Rollins, hosted by the Tars in Winter Park.
 
The Sunshine State Conference Championships will take place Feb. 10-14 at the Long Center in Clearwater, Fla., hosted by Rollins. The NCAA Championships will be held in Indianapolis, Ind., at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IU Indy from Mar. 9-13.

"Having grown up swimming at the Long Center in Clearwater, I'm especially looking forward to the intimate atmosphere it brings to a championship meet like the SSC Championships," Bostick concludes. "Hopefully, we can recreate some of the magic of 2022!"
