LAKELAND, Fla. - The Florida Southern College water ski team is ready to open the 2026 season this weekend, facing Rollins College on Saturday at Champions Lake in Auburndale, Fla.
 
"The team is practicing hard for our tournament against Rollins this Saturday," stated Mocs' head coach Jason Seels. "An A team will be selected from this and will be traveling to regionals in Alabama and our nationals in California. Looking forward to what the team can achieve." 
 
After this weekend, the Moccasins will take a few weeks off before jumping right into the Southern and Atlantic Coastal Regional on Oct. 3-4, where they will face Division I talent. Last year during the SAC Regional, FSC won their first SAC title since 2012, claiming first place in every event. 
 
After regionals, Florida Southern will travel to Sacramento, Calif., to compete in the National Collegiate Water Ski Association National Championship, where they finished third last year.  The championship will begin on Thursday, Oct. 15, and conclude on Saturday, Oct 17, with the national winner crowned for the 2026 season.
