MCCORMICK, S.C. – The Florida Southern College women's golf team opened the Savannah Lakes Invitational in 8th place, with a 23-over score of 599 at the Monticello Golf Course on Monday afternoon. 

Ava La Belle once again paced the Mocs to start off the tournament. La Belle shot two even rounds. The senior carded four birdies on the day to sit tied-9th after the opening two rounds. 

Ella Ahlqvist sits tied-27th with a two-round score of 149 (+5). Ahlqvist opened the day with an even round of 72, carding three birdies. She closed the day with a second-round score of 77, carding one birdie. 

McKinlee Proctor competed as an individual and sits tied-31st through the two rounds. Proctor shot two rounds of 75 for a 6-over score of 150. 

Emma Visnovska sits tied-50th after day one, shooting the Mocs' lowest single-round score of the day. Visnovska opened the day with a round of 83, before a solid 1-under second-round of 71. In round two, Visnovska carded back-to-back birdies on both holes 8 and 9, and 17 and 18. 

Alexandra Botsis and Christina Nordlander rounded out the Moccasin lineup tied-63rd and tied-67th, respectively. Botsis finished with a two-round score of 157 (+13), and Nordlander was a stroke off at 158 (+14).

North Georgia currently leads the field with a 2-over two-round score of 578. Lander's Sarah Reed leads all players with a 4-under score of 140, shooting two rounds of 70.
