ORLANDO, Fla. – The Florida Southern College women's golf team opened the 2026-27 season with a runner-up finish at the SSC Warm Up at the Rio Pinar Country Club in Orlando, Florida. The Mocs shot a 45-over 621 in the two-round tournament. 

Ava La Belle opened up her senior season with a top-five finish. La Belle placed third with a 7-over score of 148. She shot a 75 in the final round. 

Ella Ahlqvist also earned her first top-five finish as a Moc, with a two-round score of 152 (+8) for a tied-fourth finish. Ahlqvist shot a 76 in the final round, once again carding two birdies. 

Alexandra Botsis moved up the leaderboard in the final round, shooting a career-low 77 to finish tied-ninth. The freshman finished the tournament with an 11-over 155, carding two birdies in the round. 

Anne Charlotte Otto and Christina Nordlander, who competed as individuals, placed tied-15th and tied-23rd, respectively. Otto shot an 83 in the final round for a 15-over 159. Nordlander improved four strokes in round two, shooting an 80 for a two-round score of 164 (+20). 

McKinlee Proctor and Emma Visnovska rounded out the Moccasin lineup, finishing tied-26th and 31st, respectively. Proctor improved one stroke in the second round, shooting an 82, for a two-round score of 165 (+21). Visnovska shot a 93, bringing her two-round score to 174 (+30). 

Roo Davidson improved four strokes in round two, shooting an 87. The junior finished 32nd with a score of 178 (+34). Susie Davis withdrew from the tournament during the second round. 

The host school, Seminole State College, took the team title, with a two-round score of 597 (+21). Rio Nakama of Seminole State College took the individual title, shooting an even 144.
